Unmanaged heat can be a huge problem on many performance machines. Exhaust metal temperatures approaching 1000 degrees C in confined engine bays can fry nearby electronic/electrical components, rubber hoses, seals and engine mounts. Even fuel in tanks can boil causing severe engine power loss.
| The Camcoat
answer,
carried out for Aston Martin Lagonda and many successful race/rally teams
and individuals, is to apply thin ceramic coatings to both the
inside and outside of exhaust manifolds and pipe work. Turbochargers, Cats
and silencers are coated externally.
Much more heat is now retained in the exhaust gases resulting in less heat radiation, more power and less noise. |

Think also of the visual image - an immaculately prepared vehicle looks messy with a rusty exhaust system. As well as the Racing Black Satin coating Camcoat apply the "Cermakrome" polished look and a range of coloured ceramic finishes. |
